November 29, 2010 Reading, PA — The Surgical Institute of Reading (SIR), located in Wyomissing, PA, is pleased to be one of only 22 national winners of the 2009/2010 Apex Quality Award. The award is given to the highest performing healthcare facilities and recognizes providers for their excellence in patient satisfaction and loyalty attributes. The award is given by CTQ Solutions, which serves healthcare facilities in all 50 states and helps facilities monitor, benchmark and improve patient satisfaction by leveraging innovative online technology. To receive this award, a facility must:
- Fall within the top 10 percent of its peers' overall score average
- Meet a minimum threshold response for surveys returned during the past year by facility type
- Measure a minimum number of key performance indicators selected by CTQ

New procedure offers hope to chronic sinusitis sufferers.
